Dr. Nelson is in private practice in the field of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery, and is a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. He is a published researcher and surgical instrument inventor, as well as a consultant to industry in the fields of sleep-related breathing disorders. He holds an undergraduate degree in physics from the City University of New York, a medical degree from the Yale University School of Medicine, and he completed his post-graduate surgical and otolaryngologic training at the University of California, San Diego, and Stanford. He has recently retired as a Colonel, after a long and active reserve career in U.S. Army Special Operations. |
